Depending on your desire or budget, we specialize in offering an “instant landscape”, utilizing larger landscape specimens. We use locally grown specimens to provide our clients with reliable plants.

Hardscape installation

Mossbrook Landscaping can create your Hardscape (the non-plant element) to compliment your landscape design. Not only do amazing hardscapes act as a great first impression of your home, they can add definition to your outdoor space. Hardscapes give you the ability of extending your outdoor living space for the whole family to enjoy. Utilizing manufactured pavingstones to natural stone, we offer a wide arrangement of design ideas and unique possibilities for your landscaping needs. Mossbrook Landscaping's owners and crew members are the only certified installers in the area for the Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute (ICPI). Mossbrook is committed to advancing the segmental concrete pavement industry through education, national industry guidelines and greater efficiency.

Mossbrook Landscaping also offers services necessary to maintain a healthy lawn. Our service is performed with professional commercial grade equipment. While paying close attention to the details that are necessary in maintaining your lawn we will treat you and your property with respect.

Tree transplanting earns attention and respect. Relocating a tree is not an easy task, especially when it comes to moving mature trees. Our 36" tree spade has the capability of moving trees up to 2-2.5" caliper trees.

We have a full snow plowing crew for the harsh winters. We provide the important qualities of affordability, professionalism and reliability for snow plowing and salt applications to Plattsburgh and surrounding areas, commercial properties only. Fully Insured.

Color to texture to functionality, we will custom tailor a design that utilizes local resources and requires an amount of maintenance that you are comfortable with. Who will work on my landscape?

The only people who will work on your landscape are Mossbrook Landscaping employees. Our team members have experience and horticultural backgrounds, and we will all be familiar with your landscape needs.

is mulch or decorative stone better?

One of the most asked questions we get! Ultimately, that answer is the homeowner's choice for aesthetics. But as plant people, we will always choose mulch over stone. As a good quality mulch breaks down, it adds needed nutrients to your beds, it provides moisture for your plants, and helps maintain a better soil temperature. Both stone and mulch will grow weeds if not maintained properly.

what does it mean to be a certified hardscape installer?

Interlocking concrete pavement systems are best built by professional contractors specializing in segmental pavement construction. They can complete a high-quality job quickly and safely because they have the right equipment, the right materials, and the right skills and knowledge. Certified Installers have installed a minimum of 10,000 square feet of pavers, attended a 2-day intensive training course on industry best practices for installation of interlocking concrete pavers, passed a written certification exam, and are required to complete continuing education requirements to stay on top of industry best practices.

Is there a minimum size landscape installation that you require?

We can install all kinds of landscaping! Small projects to large projects, we tailor your design to fit your needs and budget.

Are you insured?

Mossbrook carries full insurance for all of our projects. Certificates of Insurance will be provided upon request.

how much should i water?

There is such a thing as over watering! Typically the first few weeks after your installation your new landscape will need to be watered daily, weather depending. After a few weeks, you can scale back to every three days. Listen to your plants, they will tell you when they need a drink! Rest assured, our Mossbrook team will educate you during the install process as to the watering needs of your new landscape. We also provide watering instructions upon project completion.
